Greetings. My name is Gregory Landess. Welcome to my website. Thanks for checking in. Who I am and what I do cannot be summed up in a paragraph, but here is an introduction. I was born and raised in NYC. I was blessed to have had many experiences with many great people all over the planet. This exposure has given me an open mind to a world that I am grateful for, full of knowledge and possibilities. While attending college to study plant science, I came to learn that I have a knack for understanding, applying and teaching basic and advanced physical culture. After training myself more consistently and seriously for a year, in 2004 I finally decided to get myself a kettlebell to see what all the fuss was about. I experienced one kettlebell workout and I was hooked. I instantly signed up for a Dragondoor Level I course in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a preparation Level I course with Mike Mahler in NYC. From there my quest took a fantastic twist. I found a career I was passionate about. A career that enabled me to see significant gains in self-development while making the world a better place as I directly improve the quality of living for my students. I went on to attend numerous workshops with friends and mentors Steve Cotter and Mike Mahler. I study every piece of fitness and kettlebell knowledge I come across. I had the privilege of working with many greats as I completed the distinguished Level II Dragondoor RKC course. I proudly received my first degree black belt in the Duncan family's Way of the Winds System of martial arts. In 2007 I also successfully completed the holistic health counselor training with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I've been able to enjoy endless hours of learning and training with enlightened colleagues, with the comfort of self and with phenomenal students. I expect the best but prepare for the worst and this preparation has taught me much that I wish to share. I look forward to passing on the wisdom of and the passion for lessons learned, efficiently bringing students to their goals. |
